Stackla Powers VisitScotland's Instagram Travel Agency With Interactive UGC

To inspire and entice Millennial Londoners to book Scotland as their next holiday destination, VisitScotland used Stackla to create the world’s first Instagram Travel Agency featuring floor-to-ceiling digital screens displaying hundreds of Instagram photos from across Scotland.

Visitors could select their favorite Instagram pictures posted by real travelers, featuring Scotland’s landscapes, sights, restaurants, experiences, hotels and more. The staff then used these images to curate their ideal Scottish holiday itinerary.

During the week of the pop-up Instagram travel agency, VisitScotland saw a lift in Instagram followers – increasing by 37 percent from August and 23 percent from September. By using Stackla to leverage user-generated content throughout their marketing, VisitScotland has seen overnight visits to Scotland by London Millennials grow by 34 percent.
