We’ve been busy over the past couple months working on a brand new feature to make it quick and easy for you to enrich a web page or blog post with individual pieces of social content — along with a few Stackla platform improvements. So, let’s get to it!
New Instant Tile Embed
Widgets are a great way of displaying multiple social posts on your website, but sometimes you only need to embed a single social post to punctuate a blog or web page.
Creating native embeds from various social networks can be tricky as they all have different ways of generating them. There are also some additional drawbacks that can have a negative impact on your web experience:
- Each has a different style of presentation with no consistency across networks
- There is no way to track or report upon interaction with native embeds
- There is no way to augment the content with relevant product information and/or calls-to-action
Our new Instant Tile Embed aims to solve each of these challenges by offering reporting, faster load times, the ability to add product calls-to-action and a consistent design and workflow.
Once a user-generated content (UGC) Tile has been aggregated in Stackla, you can generate an Instant Embed with a single click.
Each embed has a uniform look and feel across networks.
You can choose to track interactions on the Tile in your Stackla Insights dashboard or with our Google Analytics plugin. And make that authentic content actionable by adding product tags and calls-to-action on individual embed Tiles.
Instant Tile Embeds are available now, choose any Published Tile and select “Embed Tile” from the overflow menu.
Increased Video Uploads For GoConnect
Since launching GoConnect we’ve seen the growing popularity of video uploads as well as a rapid increase in mobile video quality.
To make sure we’re one step ahead we’ve increased the video upload capacity for GoConnect so your audience can now upload up to 5 minutes of full HD video.
Support for IGTV
Instagram’s IGTV is growing in popularity, particularly with brands and influencers who are producing video content specifically optimized for Instagram.
Instagram has made available some new APIs which we have integrated into Stackla, meaning you can now aggregate IGTV via our Chrome Extension or Create Tile feature.
Support for Facebook Video Comments
People often comment on Facebook posts with videos, and now you’re able to aggregate them in Stackla.
Any Facebook comment containing a video will now automatically be converted into a Stackla video Tile with an inline player in Widgets and Event Screens.
Sitecore 9.1 XP & XM Plugin
Stackla’s Sitecore Plugin is now compliant with the latest versions of the Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) and Experience Manager (XM) working with both Sitecore 9.1 and 9.1 Update-1.
