Chief Executive Officer & Founder
Damien was armed with 15 years of digital publishing and product management experience when he founded Stackla in 2012.
He led Macquarie Radio Network into the digital age in 2007, assembling and managing a team of 20, before moving to the National Rugby League as a senior strategist.
When Damien isn’t barracking for his beloved (and reigning champion) Hawthorn Australian Rules Football team or playing guitar in his band, he’s leading the strategic direction of Stackla in his role as CEO.
Chief Product Officer & Founder
Peter founded Stackla in 2012 after a gradual career evolution from online journalist to product manager.
He carries a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications and built his understanding of the power of content during his time as Sports Editor for Macquarie Radio Network.
He managed the National Rugby League’s digital product offering via rights holder Telstra and was dragged off the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro (literally) by Damien to embark on an even more exciting adventure with Stackla.
Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder
Semin left a senior role at NBN Co. to join Stackla when it was little more than a three-man start up with a prototype and a vision.
He brought extensive, cross-industry experience as a technology lead, solutions architect and senior developer with him.
Leading complex projects with n-tier architecture, critical web-based business systems and delivery of large-scale web sites allowed Semin to build a scaleable, robust platform with bleeding edge technologies and many long words.
Managing Director (EMEA) & interim Chief Marketing Officer
Andy joined Stackla in 2013, launching the EMEA office based in London.
With over 20 years marketing and advertising experience, Andy has spent most of his career on the client side as a CMO of global brands including Virgin and Fitness First. He played a central role in the startup team that launched Virgin Mobile in the UK before moving to Australia as Brand and Marketing Director. During his time in Australia, he also spent three years on the other side of the fence as Managing Director of NetX Digital, one of the largest and most respected creative and media agencies in the country.
Andy is proud to have received the Gold Pinnacle at the global AFA Effectiveness Awards and a Titanium and Gold Lion at the Cannes International Advertising Awards.
Global VP, Customer Services
Yan joined Stackla in 2014 to found the U.S. business unit as the head of sales for North America. As the company scaled, he transitioned into a global leadership role to look after Stackla’s expanding customer base.
Yan’s previous roles include leading teams at Salesforce.com and scaling the new business team at Topsy, which was acquired by Apple.
In addition to his passion for growing companies, Yan loves surfing, the outdoors, and traveling to awesome places.
General Manager, Australia
Jade joined Stackla in early 2015 as General Manager, Australia. She also leads Stackla’s People & Culture team and manages talent strategy globally.
Jade brings true passion and expertise in organizational development to her role. She has more than 10 years of experience in strategic human resource management—as well as operations and general management—across industries including music, entertainment, digital media, and advertising. Her proven track record in bringing about positive cultural change in businesses both large and small is a huge asset to the Stackla team.
Jade is also an avid snowboarder, so when she’s not in the Sydney office or beach-side in her hometown of Bondi, you’ll find her chasing winters all over the globe.
